Representatives from The Will County Sheriff’s Department and the Joliet Police Department will have a speaker at the Center to talk about:

“Issues and Concerns of Prescription Medications”. John Georgis, Registered Pharmacist from Jewel/Osco and motivational speaker, will give a presentation on:

  • How the physiological changes in older people affect the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of all medications consumed
  • What are the adverse effects of inappropriate medication usage
  • The seriousness of not taking prescribed medications properly.

Coffee will be served. No pre-registration is necessary.
