Before I came to Senior Services I just stayed home. Now I am there several times a week with my new friends to have fun. I especially love the craft classes as you never know what we will make each time. – Aileene

Senior Services provides many programs to empower those 60+ to live self-sufficient, safe and healthy lives. Senior Services of Will County also acts as the representative of the Illinois Department of Aging within our communities. Folks seeking to see if they qualify for our services may call our intake line at 815-740-4225. Case managers will follow up to see what programs might be right for you or your loved ones.
Caregivers

Caregiving is quite a responsibility. We understand and are here to help. Our programs connect caregivers with much needed resources, tailoring each to the family’s needs. Training, support, respite and resources are all offerings we can help with. Whether it is taking care of your own family or getting help with someone else coming into your home so you can get some much needed relief, we are the place to find help and information.

Support Programs

It is hard when you feel alone. That’s why we provide a safe place to share thoughts, ask questions and just simply vent. Professionally led support groups meet monthly to allow family members to know they are not alone.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

In response to a growing tide in the world in which we live, Senior Services has begun a support program for grandparents raising grandchildren. Education, resources, support and counseling are available. And the best part is that the grandchildren are welcome, too.

What you know can make all the difference in your life. We provide classes that will assist you in becoming more independent, safe, healthy and fulfilled.
